Bright Early Winter · It was a brutally cold Sunday in November, getting close to record-setting territory. I wanted to stay inside, but then the sun came out. Once it was possible to go out it was necessary; the four-year-old had been cooped up all day and some running-around in the fresh air was clearly going to benefit everyone’s sanity.
