I walked by this tree this afternoon; it’s mostly still mostly-red buds, but the flowers are mostly not red at all.
This time of year, you can almost sit down, and in the time it takes to drink a coffee, watch the flowers breaking out. But sitting down with that coffee is a good idea, even if you’re looking away and miss a new blossom or two.
