Was killing time in YVR (Vancouver's airport, regularly selected by travel magazines as the world's best, don't know if I'd go that far but it's OK), getting my shoes shined in fact, and I noticed the graceful geometries hovering under the ceiling.

This trip, which supposed to be YVR->Dallas->LA, has started horribly; the first hop to Seattle didn't happen because Air Canada's server was down so badly they couldn't file flight plans therefore couldn't fly. So now I'm flying to LA as I write this where I'll hang out and catch the red-eye to Dallas, oh joy, arriving at 5:30 AM for my breakfast meeting and noon presentation.
