We were visiting our friends Sandra and Malcolm here in Melbourne and picked up a couple of striking closely-related photographs.

Their house is in the middle of a massive renovation thus the yard is a construction site. Two of the kids got hold of something the duct-guy had carelessly left behind:

Two kids in an unused duct

The construction has not disrupted the growth of the morning glories, and I foolishly tried to impress the Aussies with the picture below; they sneered about how these plants are vicious aggressive weeds and the right way to deal with ’em is a good bushfire that would wipe ’em out and leave room for the native species to bounce back.

Anyhow, two kids, two flowers, nice afternoon. And Sandy & Malcom’s place is gonna be awesome when it’s done.
