APP Test Suite · No spec­i­fi­ca­tion or stan­dard is re­al­ly ready for prime time un­til it has a test suit­e. The Atom Pub­lish­ing Pro­to­col al­ready has one, and it hasn’t even shipped yet. Way to go!
Saskatchewan · It’s Spring Break, so we’re in Saskatchewan with the kid vis­it­ing his grand­moth­er­s. I’ll be out at Lauren’s Mom’s farm for the next three days with lousy In­ter­net ac­cess. This is part­ly by de­sign; I am se­ri­ous­ly be­hind on my Ja­va One de­liv­er­ables and a day or two hid­ing up­stairs at the far­m, away from the Net, while Lau­ren hangs out with her moth­er and the kid with the an­i­mal­s, may help get me caught up. WWW2006 · The Web Con­fer­ence is in Ed­in­burgh this year; this con­fer­ence was once great and I’m glad to see that Stu­art Wil­liams, my friend and for­mer col­league from the W3C TAG, is tak­ing the Developers’ Track (here’s the Call for Sub­mis­sions) in hand; I sus­pect that it’ll be very good. I’d be there, ex­cept that I have bet­ter things to do.
