While everyone else was off at those foobar camps, we spent the weekend (and will spend the week) in Saskatchewan, hanging out at the kid’s grandmothers’ places and mostly still working, but in in a different kind of topography. Saskatchewan is a good place for taking pictures.

I’ve never seen this kind of stucco anywhere else but on the Canadian Prairies. Dragonflies are everywhere though.

As I’ve noted before, the Saskatchewan license plates say “Land of living skies” and they’ve got a point.

This chair was my great-grandmother’s, and I was staying with my grandparents when it came back from the refinishing shop, magically changed from junk to treasure. It’s meant a lot to me ever since.
