most delicate white imaginable and then fade into purple decrepitude.
Wikipedia suggests this is
Trillium
ovatum.

work.

Tim,
Nice pic! I live near Toronto with a ravine at the back of the house. All along the banks of the creek that runs through the ravine are thousands of these gorgeous flowers.
Sadly, they are fading to purple, but there is always next year.
